Member Week is about connecting Card Members and prospects to their passions and giving them the chance to live their best week with American Express. This year’s highlights included an intimate, surprise performance by Olivia Rodrigo in Los Angeles and pop-up ticket booths in key markets, offering pass holders a chance to snag free tickets to marquee events such as Coachella, the US Open, and F1.
For Olivia Rodrigo’s performance at the gothic-styled United Theater, we transformed the venue into a fully immersive experience curated around her favorite things. Guests explored floral installations, bespoke branding, photo moments, glam stations, an extremely popular merchandise station, and elevated food and beverage offerings including Olivia’s preferred matcha. The performance itself was truly special, with Olivia and her songwriter sharing behind-the-scenes insights into their creative process, creating a one-of-a-kind, intimate, and conversational experience for Card Members. The evening concluded with a surprise, custom-branded taco truck for a late-night bite, extending the elevated journey and reinforcing that this was a unique and unforgettable experience provided by American Express.
